Joseph G. Gocek, formerly of Plains, passed away on January 3, 2021, at Harmony at Westshore, Mechanicsburg.

Born in Plains, on March 19, 1941, he was a son of the late Con and Mary (Lavix) Gocek.

Joe served as a district manager for the Commonwealth of PA- Blindness and Visual Services.

Surviving is his loving wife, Frances (Leagus) Gocek, 2 sons, Jeff Gocek, Williamsport and Gary Gocek and his wife, Catherine, Camp Hill,  grandson, Nathan, brother John Gocek, Plains, several nieces and nephews.

Private Services will be held by Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Wilkes-Barre.
