Joseph E. Dunn

Joseph E. Dunn, 94, passed away on June 26, 2021 at Residential Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in New York City, on October 20th 1926, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ivy (Covey) Dunn.

A member of the American Legion, Joseph joined the Army and served in WWII. He also worked for Maxwell House as a Forklift Mechanic.

Joseph was an avid reader and loved spending his time oil painting. His favorite place to travel was Ireland, with his wife of 64 years, Ann (Manning) Dunn.

Surviving Joseph are three children, Kathleen, Forty Fort, PA, Patrick & wife Lori, Shavertown, PA, and Daniel & significant other Megan Lurose, Cherry Hill NJ; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are parents Thomas & Ivy (Covey) Dunn, loving wife Ann (Manning) Dunn, brother Thomas Dunn, and son Kevin Dunn.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
