John P. Zdyb, 80, of Dupont, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Celtic Hospice.

He was born October 22, 1937 in Dupont to the late Paul and Julia (Zygmund) Zdyb.

John was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. After graduating high school, John went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force. He loved to read and work on crossword puzzles. He enjoyed science and math. John liked to exercise and went to the gym regularly. He also enjoyed horse racing.

John is survived by his sister Isabelle Wislowski, and by a nephew, Charles D. Peos and his wife Evelyn.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sisters, Adele Coman, and Olga Kolis.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday the 15th, at 10:00 A.M. from Sacred heart of Jesus Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave, Dupont. Interment will be private for the family.
