John "Jack" Wich

John “Jack” Wich, 64, of Ashley passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Jack was born in Wilkes-Barre, on June 16, 1953 to the late John and Florence (Gribble) Wich.

Jack was a United States Navy veteran, working as a welder on submarines. He was a former member of the Catholic war vets group. Jack liked to hang out with friends at his cousin Jack’s Machine Shop. He also loved to go shopping at Boscovs and attending concerts. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jack is survived by his cousin, John “Jack” Stribaugh.

Services will be private for the family, with interment in Maple Hill Cemetery.
