John R. Swiderski, Jr.

John R. Swiderski, Jr., 56, of Hanover Twp., passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on July 10, 1968, he was a son of John R. (Jack) Swiderski, Sr. and the late Susan (Kepp) Swiderski.

He was a member of Saint Mary, Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Dorrance.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding quads. He loved joking around with his son and hanging out in the garage with him and spending time with his grandson.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, John R. Swiderski.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Patricia A. (Dotzel) Swiderski; son, John R. Swiderski, III; daughter, Sarah Swiderski and significant other, Erik Nobel; grandson, Ivan Nobel; brother, Michael Swiderski; sisters, Jane Rittel and husband, Eugene; and Linda Swiderski and mother-in-law, Margaret Dotzel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary, Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 3529 St. Mary’s Road, Wapwallopen (Dorrance), PA 18660. The procession will leave the funeral home at 9:00 AM.
