Jean (Miller) Sekela, 87, passed away February 3, 2022 at Guardian Eldercare, Nanticoke.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 2, 1934, she was a daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Shelhamer) Miller.

Jean enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Andrew Sekela; brother, Richard Miller and sister, Marilyn Gabriel.

Jean is survived by daughters, Nancy Boote and Barbara (Richard) Rupert and their father, her ex-husband and best friend, Marvin Boote; grandchildren, Josey, Molly and Cass Rupert; and niece, Diane Vodzak.

Funeral arrangements were private for the family from Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services.
