Jane S. (Schaffer) Patrick, 84, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday evening at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on November 5, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Amon and Elizabeth (Williams) Schaffer. She was a 1948 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School.
Jane was a member of Albright United Methodist Church previously Parrish Street United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir. She was a member of the American Legion Post 463 Ladies Auxiliary, Plymouth.
Prior to retiring, she was employed as a bookkeeper by Commercial Credit Corporation for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Patrick.
Surviving are her son, Kevin Patrick and his fiancé Marlene Griego, Boulder City, NV; Step-son Keith Barber and his wife, Cher, Virginia Beach, VA; granddaughter, Kalyn Miller and husband, Will, Houston, TX; 2 great-grandchildren, Heath and Liam Miller; a sister, Ethel Thomas, Peckville; nephews Gary Thomas, Baltimore, MD and Alan Thomas, Tuscon, AZ; several cousins.
Private services will be conducted by the Reverend Leonard Buxton at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
