Jane Evans

Jane Evans, 92, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, January 26, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on September 2, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Edloes and Edna (Davis) Evans.
Jane worked in retail and retired from the Kiddie Shop. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Wilkes-Barre. Jane was extremely independent and enjoyed working in her yard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clark, Harry and Thomas Evans and sisters, Marion Christianson and Ann Check.
Jane is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 P.M. from Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may visit from 12:30-1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Hanover Green Cemetery.
