James E. Schneider, Jr., 63, of Edwardsville, passed away on May 8th, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on November 2, 1957, he was a son of the late James E. Schneider Sr., and Theresa (Trojn) Schneider.

James was a supervisor for the NY State Department of Recreation, Coney Island Beaches, he was also a veteran of the United States Army. He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years; Anna Maria Schneider, Sons; Antonio Vasquez, and Christopher Schneider, Daughter; Angela Schneider, Brothers; William Schneider, and John Schneider, Sisters; Carrie Schneider, Patsy Schneider, and Joanie Schneider, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral Home, 465 South Main Street Wilkes-Barre, with Father Joseph Verespy officiating.
