Henryk G. Kaleniecki,72 of Rosedale, NY, passed away unexpectedly on May 27th 2024. Born on August 17, 1951, in Sanok,Poland, he was the son of Roman and Janina (Wrotniak) Kaleniecki. He leaves behind his beloved wife of thirty eight years, Margaret “Peg” (Walczak) Kaleniecki with whom he shared countless trips to yard sales and flea markets in search of tools, musical instruments or radios that he could bring back to life! They bonded over their mutual love of music, history, reading, travel and craft beer. On the spiritual side Henryk never met a stranger and saw the best in everyone he encountered. He prayed daily for those souls who passed on before him and played multiple instruments but had a special love for the trumpet.

A memorial Service to celebrate Henryk’s life will be held in New York at a later date where friends and family will gather to pay their respects and share stories of the impact he had on their lives.
Henryk will be deeply missed by those who knew him but his memory will live on through the music he played, the stories he shared and the love he gave to those around him.
