Hannah Jane Peck, 84, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Hannah was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Family was at the center of her life, and she gave her love generously and without hesitation. As a true garage-sale extraordinaire, she found joy in the simple things.

She is survived by her two sons, Daniel Peck and Jeffery Peck (Penny); her three grandchildren, Megan Peck, Brianna Van Scoy (John), and Jeffery Peck Jr., who were her greatest joy and happiness in life; her beloved best friend, Sandy Helfrick; former sister-in-law, Nancy Watkins; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Hannah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Peck; her parents, Myrtle and George Watkins; her sisters, Marie (Edward), Margaret (Andy), and Lucy; her brothers, William and Harold (Dorothy); and her niece, Cheri Kundratic.

To know Hannah was to love her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever held close in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on February 13, 2026, at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Per her wishes, only family may call from 10-11AM.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Allied Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
