Grace Ann Brunisifski

Grace Ann (Dockett) Brunisifski, 96, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center in Scranton.

Born in Duryea on November 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jenny Mae (Huddleson) Dockett.

After receiving her high school diploma, Grace dedicated her life to raising her children. In her free time, she loved to be outside walking. She enjoyed chatting with friends while on her neighborhood walk and loved to spend quality time with friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zygmund Brunisifski; and 9 siblings.

Surviving to cherish her memory are sons, Stephen Brunisifski, PA, and David Brunisifski, Fl; daughter, Joann Rossi, DE; sisters, Gen Gurzinski, NV, and Betty Rosenski, PA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on September 18, 2026, at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler, 728 Main Street, Avoca. Friends and family may call from 4-6.
