Elizabeth J (Mccloe) Anderson

Elizabeth  "Lizzie" J. (McCloe) Anderson, 79, of Pasadena, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie, MD.

Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa, on August 21, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Ida Mae (Flakes) McCloe.

Prior to moving to Maryland, Elizabeth was a member and attended church at New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church in Wilkes Barre, she was a former member of the New Hope Primitive Church, Steelton, Pa, and while living in Maryland, regularly attended Spirit of Faith Christian Center, Baltimore, MD.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Anderson; children, Sheldon, Lyle, John, and Nicholas; granddaughter Erica, brother, Arlington McCloe; sister, Beverly Golden.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Willie Williams Jr. (Felicia), Trucksville, PA; daughter, Romona Truesdale (Joseph “Tio”), Pasadena, MD; grandchildren, Jason Sr., Tracy, Ginger, Dominique, Gabrielle, Nicholas; great grandchildren, Shanice, Jalyn, Jason Jr., Vu, Dominic-James, Aubree-Lynn, Kaia-Grace; brothers, Vernon "Jr", Exeter, Maurice, and Everett McCloe, Wilkes Barre; sisters, Arlene "Poochie" McClure, Rev. Gloria Watson (JD),  Brenda Seabrooks, Linda Gilliom (Charles), Carol Golden (Will), and Valerie McCloe; Wilkes Barre, sister-in-love, Mary McCloe and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at, 11 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church 780 South Main St. Wilkes Barre, with Pastor Theresa Tyler-Smith officiating.   A viewing will be held at the church on Friday evening, May 6, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, as well as 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Wilkes Barre, Pa.
