Elizabeth “Betty” H. (Davis) Jenkins, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born on Jan. 24, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Ann Davis.
Betty loved traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Wyoming Valley Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre. Betty enjoyed singing in the choir for over 62 years, being a church Deacon and making Welsh Cookies with the church. She also served as a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Jenkins in 2006.
Left to cherish Betty’s memory is son, Joseph Jenkins; granddaughters, Anastasia and Kayla Jenkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Harold Armstrong will be officiating. Family and friends may visit from 10-11 A.M.
Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
