Edward C. Nolan

Edward C. Nolan, 80, of Nanticoke, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home.

Born in Lakewood, New Jersey on November 4, 1934, he was a son of the late Edward S. Nolan.

Edward was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Germany as a communications specialist.

He was a member of Elks #1591, Hillside, New Jersey and was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Prior to retiring, he worked as an electrical contractor for many years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Joan R. Zipf, who passed away April 10, 2009; and a brother, Richard Nolan.

Surviving are his son, Edward Nolan and wife, Lorraine, Linwood, NJ;  daughters, Deborah Sturgeon and husband, David, Phoenix, AZ and Pamela Nolan, Somers Point, NJ; grandchildren, Silena, Daniel, Ashley, Caitlyn, Michael, Cassidy and Justin; great-grandson, Danny.

A memorial service will be held in New Jersey at a later date.
