Edward P. Crawford, 78, of Hanover Township, passed away on May 6, 2025, at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 24, 1947, he was the son of the late John and Viola (Swartwood) Crawford.

After graduating high school, Edward enlisted in the Air Force where he proudly served his country from 1965 to 1969. After being discharged, Edward worked for the King 5th Wheel for 39 years. He loved to collect knives and going to different restaurants. Most importantly, Edward was very family oriented and loved spending quality time with his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Oeller and Jean Ruggere; and brother, John Crawford.

Surviving to cherish Edward’s memory is his loving wife, Margaret “Peg” (Hall) Crawford; daughters, Shannon Kutz and Christal Holloman; grandchildren, Bradley, Tyler, Ryan, Michaelene, Katie, Brittney, Myah, and Max; great-grandchildren, Liberty, Tristian, Madilynn, Athena, Carter, Olivia, Elijaha, and a soon to be born great grandson; and sisters, Diana Ward, Phyllis Cushalunis, Florence Ward, and Viola Sluzele.

A visitation will be held on May 15, 2025 from 11AM-12PM at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA, 18701, with a 12 PM service. Interment will be at Maple Hill immediately following the service.
