Dorothy S. Mcmillion

Dorothy Marie (Shrewsbury) McMillion, 72, of Hanover Twp., passed away Tuesday, April 7 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born on January 1, 1948 in Ravencliff, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Bryant and Nola (Milam) Shrewsbury.

Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved to sit and watch the birds, rabbits, and squirrels from her apartment. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angelia Marie Vest.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Damon Vest, Jr. and wife, Nichole, of Pineville WV, David Vest and wife, Katrina, of Linden TN and Don Vest and wife, Chasidy, of Artie WV; daughter, Denise Adkins and companion Kyle, of Pineville WV and grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tanner, Siranda, Amy, Landon, Angela, Aaron and Bethany. She is also survived by a sister and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be fulfilling Dorothy’s wishes to be cremated. There will be a small Memorial Service in West Virginia for Dorothy at a later date.
