Obituary
Doris (Bland) Grant, 85, of Wilkes-barre, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Kingston Health Care Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 3, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Otto and Dorothy (Tull) Bland. Doris graduated from G.A.R. High School in 1949 and worked as a seamstress in the garment industry. She enjoyed sewing, making Italian cookies and being a foster grandparent.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Grant and sister, Elsie Scales.
Doris leaves a daughter, Sharon Grant and sister, Sylvia Cooper.
Services were private.
