Donald R. Heck, 68, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, on February 10, 1947, he was a son of Verna (Stivers) Heck and the late Arthur Heck.
Donald enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren and dogs, Cuddles and Maxine.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Rosemary (McNulty) Heck.
Left to cherish his memory are sons, Edward Heck, and his wife, Sonja, Exeter, Brian Heck, and his wife, Dawn, Laurel Run, and Robert “Bob” Heck, Wilkes-Barre; daughters, Roseann Sims, NC and Charlene Heck, Larksville; 8 grandchildren; sister, Alma Stevenson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be private at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
