Diane C. (Yelland) Allen, 71, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on October 4, 2021 at home.

Born on July 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Katherine (O’Connor) Yelland.

Diane was a kind and loving caregiver to many of her patients, she cared for through the years, when she worked for Bayada Nursing and Erwin Health Care.

Nothing brought her greater joy than being with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Yelland; brother-in-law, Tyrone W. Edmonds; and grandchildren, Deion Rinaldi, and Courtney Wisher.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving son, Brian Krum and wife, Stephanie; loving daughters, Christine Wisher, Lisa Sanita  and Selena Hughes; sisters, Sharon Edmonds and Annmarie Krum; brothers, Herbert Yelland, Antonio Yelland, and John Yelland; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Homegoing Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, 11:00 AM, at Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral home, 465 S. Main St. Wilkes Barre, with Reverend James Breese officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
