Delores “DeeDee” A. (Kepp) Schneider, 65, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on July 16, 2021, at home.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre on December 5, 1955.

Delores was preceded in death by her son Billyjay Finney, both her parents, as well as several brothers and sisters.

Known to all as DeeDee, she loved anything purple, butterflies, and most especially, her family. She was the love of her husband’s life and brought joy and laughter to anyone she met. She loved to be around people. DeeDee was a girly girl, getting her hair and nails done was a must. She was a member of St. Nicks Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

DeeDee is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Gerald F. Schneider Sr.; sons, Gerald F. Schneider II (Jennifer), Josh Schneider (Kaitlyn); daughter, Crystal (Finney) Troyer (Kenneth); grandchildren, Brandon Jeffery Bellaire, DJ Bellaire, Sarah Mielke, Amber Henney, William Finney, and Rylee Madison; 3.75 great-grandchildren; sister, Florence (Flossy) Pritchard; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral home 465 South Main Street Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
