David F. Johnson, 65, of Avoca, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his residence.

Born in Hackensack, NJ on May 2, 1950, he was the son of the late William and Sara (Childress) Johnson.

He was the owner of D.J. Towing.

He is survived by his son, Christian Johnson and daughters Jennifer Butler and Alpha Esser.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 728 Main St., Avoca, was in charge of arrangements.
