Cornelia Wilkins passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023, in Wilkes-Barre. She was born on January 10, 1939, to Elizabeth Burgess and Rannie McCrea in Montgomery County. She lived in Jersey City and moved to Pennsylvania upon retiring. Cornelia Wilkins worked for over 30+ years for Jersey City Child Development Center as a Head Start Teacher. She was loved by all her students and the faculty and staff. Her past time was cooking, making quilts, and visiting Atlantic City, New Jersey. She had a sense of humor and was very feisty. She just enjoyed life. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Private cremation services have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc.
