Clive S. M. Halstead

Clive Shervington McCaulay Halstead, 78, of Wilkes- Barre Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2022, surrounded by his family, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Kingston Jamaica W. I., on July 18, 1944, he was a son of the late Fitzhugh and Lena (Robotham) Halstead. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Halstead. After high school, Clive attended college in Jamaica. He migrated to the USA in 1981, with his wife, Wilma, whom he married in 1968, and their two children. He was a dedicated husband and father. He worked his whole life for the same company, eventually becoming a foreman. His job moved locations, which took him from New Jersey, to finally residing in Pennsylvania. He was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the NY Yankees, and NY Giants. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Wilma (Allen) Halstead; son, Gregory O. Halstead, FL.; daughter, Nicole N. Halstead, Wilkes Barre Twp.; his brother, Neville Halstead, Jamaica; grandchildren Jayden, Karina, Yessenia and Stephanie, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at The Episcopal Church of St. Clement & St. Peter, 165 Hanover St. Wilkes Barre, PA, 18702, with Father Charles Warwick officiating.
