Clementine H. Steinbacher Coledo, 89, of Edwardsville, passed away on July 15, 2025, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Meade Street.
Born in Williamsport on May 1, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Richard H. Steinbacher and Eleanor Smith Steinbacher.
Clementine received her high school diploma from St. Mary’s High School, Williamsport. She worked as a housing manager for the Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority for 42 years. She was a member of St. Nicholas-St. Mary Parish. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. In her free time, she loved to play dominos with her friends from Gateway Apartments. She loved to cook, bake, read, and was an avid sports fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 69 years, John Joseph Coledo; brother, Richard Steinbacher; and son-in-law, David Kosloski.
Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters, Judith Kosloski, and Lisa (Jack) McNulty; son, John (Pamela) Coledo; grandchildren David (Ashley) Kosloski; Sarah (Michael) Hliwski; Kaitlyn (Judd) Carr; Tara (Steve) Dorris; Kristin (Brady) Belles; John (Ariel) Coledo; eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gary (Annette) Steinbacher; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 18 from 9-10:30 a.m., at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas- St. Mary Parish, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
