Cheryl Del Kanic

Cheryl (Shiffer) Del Kanic, 74, of Kingston, PA, died on May 3, 2026, at Edenbrook Nursing Facility.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, on September 17, 1951, Cheryl graduated from West SideHigh School in 1969. She was a member of Roaring Brook Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter J. Shiffer, mother, Marjorie (MacClary)Shiffer, and sister, Carol (Shiffer) Nallo.She is survived by her children, Susan Parr, Karen McFarland, William Del Kanic and Devon Del Kanic and five grandchildren.

Cheryl will be remembered for her crafting and the loving care she provided for her youngest daughter.

Interment will be private for the family in Maple Grove Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
