Charles A. Guiterrez, Jr.

Charles A. Guiterrez, Jr., 56, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday morning, April 27, 2016, at his home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 29, 1960, he was a son of Lorraine L. (Keller) Gutierrez of Hanover Twp., and the late Charles A. Gutierrez, Sr.
Charles was employed as a painter by Georgetti Painting, Plains, for many years. He was a member of Painters Union District Council 21, Local 41 and the Triangle Club, Plains, where he enjoyed assisting with events for the children and community.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially football and recently took up golfing.
In addition to his father, Charles, Sr., he was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Gutierrez.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his companion, Colleen Swartwood; brother, Joseph Gutierrez and his wife, Janine, Shavertown; sister, Annette Hoyt and her husband, Preston; Shavertown; several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the S.P.C.A. of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702
