Blanche Rebecca (Frey) Shotwell

Blanche Rebecca (Frey) Shotwell, 48, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 4, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains Township.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on May 16, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Howard LeRoy and Dororthy (Mazur) Frey.

Blanche enjoyed going camping with her family, doing puzzle books, and playing cards especially with her brother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; a brother, Howard Frey.

Surviving is her husband of 17 years, Ricky Nelson Shotwell, a daughter, Amanda Rinker, Wilkes-Barre, a son, Tyler Rinker, Catawissa, a brother, Jeffery Mazur, Wilkes-Barre, three sisters, Sharon Frey, Clarks Summit, Karen Frey, Tunkhannock, Elizabeth Frey, Wilkes-Barre, two nephews, Rory Riggins, NY and Isaiah Frey, Wilkes-Barre.

Private cremation services are being held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
