Betty Jo (Cato) Miller, 79, of Scranton, formerly of Beaumont, passed away Thursday, February 1, at her home.

Born in Atlanta, GA, on September 19, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Bernice (Harris) Cato.

Betty Jo enjoyed doing crafts and loved going camping at the How Kola Campground in Falls, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Ralph “Butch” Miller and a sister, Joy Magee.

Betty Jo is survived by several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. from Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 465 S. Main Street. Wilkes-Barre, PA. Officiating will be Deacon Thomas Cesarini.

Family and friends may visit Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 10:00-11:00 A.M.

Interment at Chapel Lawn Cemetery will take place at a later date.
