Obituary
WILKES-BARRE-April Ann Walker, 49, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on July 10, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Howard Walker and Beverly Ann (McCloe) Golden. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School and a member of New Covenant Christian Fellowship.
Her stepfather, LeRoy Golden, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Natasha Ann, Natalie Marie and Tyseane Monroe Whitt; grandchildren Natavia Finess Whitt, Tatyana Trinity Whitt Simon and Namari David Whitt; brothers Jerome McCloe, Howard Walker and Darryl Carr; sister Robin McDougal; nieces nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Covenant Christian Fellowship, Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to April's children.
