Anne (Price) Sherwood

Anne (Price) Sherwood, 81, of Harvey’s Lake, passed away Monday, January 23, 2016, at Celtic Hospice, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
Anne was born in Laurel Run, on July 28, 1935. She was a daughter of the late Arthur P. and Vesta Jane (Beach) Price.
She graduated from G.A.R. High School in 1953 and attended Wilkes University. Anne was employed by PNC Bank, formerly First Eastern Bank and was also an office supervisor and court reporter for Luzerne County.
Anne was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was a past president of the American Institute of Banking and a member of the Nanticoke Historical Society. Anne enjoyed attending charity events and supporting the S.P.C.A.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Zoltewicz.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 12 years, Thomas J. Sherwood; sister, Lillian Gola and husband, Howard; 2 brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
Anne’s family had private services, with burial in Scott Cemetery, Waterton. Arrangements were entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Wilkes-Barre.
