Anne (Sokoloski) Azzara

Anne D. Azzara, 93, of Mountain Top, passed away Monday evening, July 24, 2017, at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on October 14, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Janton) Sokoloski.
She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Church, Wilkes-Barre and was a former president of the Northeastern PA Collectors Club.
Anne was formerly employed by L.J. Rice Construction Company, Long Island, as an administrative assistant.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley, Joseph, John, Edward and Robert and sisters, Helen and Marion.
Surviving is her husband of 73 years, Albert S. Azzara; her son, Alan Azzara; her daughter, Roberta Azzara; granddaughter Erika Adelman and great-grandson, Spencer
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
