Alberta A. (Miller) Esser, 102, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully at Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, on September 22, 2014.

Suriving are a son, Fred Esser and his wife, Mary, Long Pond, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, who passed away on June 17, 2000, a sister, Arline Farnsworth and a brother, Jerry Miller.

A private memorial mass will be held at the convienence of the family.

Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre, is in charge of arrangements.
