Doris A. (Williams) Hines

Doris A. Hines, 91, a resident of Manor Care, Kingston, and formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away early Friday morning.  Doris was born in Wilkes-Barre on December 16, 1926.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (MacNeil) Williams. 

         Doris was employed by the former Mercy Hospital for many years.  She was a kind, caring person who enjoyed a good conversation.  She had a big heart and a big smile.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

         Doris was preceded in death by her husband; Raymond E. Hines, sister; Jane Hopesberger, brothers; Joseph, Russell and Donald Williams.

         Surviving are sons; Russell Rinehimer, Mountain Top, Mark Rinehimer, Kingston.  Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Brother; John Williams, Nuangola.  Step-daughters; Sandra Lewis, Swoyersville and Karen Cefalo, Wyoming.    

         A blessing service for Doris will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Kniffen O’ Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.  Pastor Carol E. Coleman will officiate.  Private interment will be held in Wyoming Cemetery.  Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 4:00 pm until time of service at 6:00.
