Clifford J. Thomas, 63, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 2, 1955, he was a son of the late Clifford and Mary (Livingston) Thomas.
He was employed by Ehrlich Pest Control as an exterminator.
Clifford was an extreme Jeopardy fan and also liked watching John Wayne movies. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards, being a Phillies fan and trying new foods. He had a special interest in anything to do with history and reading the book, I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt. Clifford also enjoyed looking for Bald Eagles and Hawks and was very knowledgeable on the different species.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Thomas.
Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Kacey Thomas, Alicia Westforth and husband, Jeff and Sarah Gibbon; sons, Jacob Thomas and David Gibbon; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Peterson and husband, Jack and Mary Beth McManus and husband, Kevin and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation celebrating Clifford’s life will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main St. Wilkes-Barre.
