Anne E. King

Anne E. King, 78, passed away on November 6th in Easton, PA, after a full life with family and friends. A native of Moosic, PA, she spent most of her adult life in Easton, PA, as an elementary teacher in the Phillipsburg, NJ school system.

Anne graduated from Misericordia University and held a Master Degree in Education from Lehigh University.

She was preceded in death by; her father, Thomas C. King and mother, Margaret Ward King and aunts, Liza, Mae and Letty Ward.

She is survived by her brother, Tom and his wife, Joan; two nephews, Tom (Laura) and Jim (Eden) and grand nieces and nephews, on whom she doted, Carolyn, Sean, Bridget, Nathan, Kellan and Chapel.  She will also be missed by the Merlino and D’Elia families.

Anne was a selfless, fun loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 A.M. from Queen of the Apostles Church, 715 Hawthorne Street, Avoca with Father Thomas Maloney. Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the church. A reception to celebrate Anne’s life will be held following the service.

Interment will be private for the family in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
