Alma Jean Johnson, 28, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on August 8, 2019, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia on August 31, 1990, she was a daughter of James Williams and Teresa Gray.
Alma graduated from Elmer L Meyers Junior/Senior High School. She loved to laugh, selflessly gave to anyone in need, was a listening ear to many and always strived to help others see the best in life.
She enjoyed meeting new people and was employed in several retail and fast food positions at places such as Target, Khols and McDonald's
As a youth she attended Mount Zion Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the Youth and Young Adult Choir, dancing in the Abundant Praise Dance Ministry and participating in youth ministry activities.
Left to cherish her memory are the joys of her life, her daughter Mahkenzie Johnson(Ladybug), and her two sons, Israel Speaks(Izzy) and Micah Speaks(Micahbob).
In addition she is survived by her parents, a sister, Donita Johnson, two brothers, Carl and William Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held by the family on August 31, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 105 Hill Street, Wilkes-Barre. Private interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
