Adella Bensavage Obituary

Adele (Dell) Bensavage, 92, formerly of Hazle Street in Hanover Township passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Smith Health Care, Mountain Top, where she was a resident.

 

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Nellie Komski.  She worked for many years in the local garment industry.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Leo P. Bensavage, Sr., her husband of 65 years and her brothers:  Benedick, Chester, Louis, Casimir, Edward, Stanley and infant Teddy Komski.

 

Adele is survived by her children Leo Bensavage, Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Menifre, California and Loraine Stook and her husband, Jim of Nuangola, Pennsylvania.

Her family has grown to include her grandchildren:  Theresa Stook, Adam Bensavage, Laura Stook Bailey and Glen Stook and seven great grandchildren: Jimmy and Ben Bailey, Andrew, Collin and Dylan Bensavage and Sawyer and Hazel Stook.

The family would like to express their thanks to the staffs of Smith Health Care and Celtic Hospice Care for their compassionate care of our Mother.

A memorial service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
