Carolyn V. (McGuire) Grande, 78, of Nanticoke, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Birchwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke.

Born in Newark, NJ on August 8, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel (Trowbridge) McGuire.

Carolyn loved spending time with her family and was proud to be a mom, grandma, and great grandma. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks and jokes on everyone. She also enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jerome A. Grande and 4 siblings.

Carolyn is survived by daughters, Lorraine Nolan and husband, Edward, Patricia Barlow and husband, William and Nancy Grande; son, John Grande and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Amanda & Amber Barlow, Cassidy & Justin Nolan and Ashley Grande; great grandson, Henry; brother, John McGuire and sisters, Joan Cuccolo, Kate Dempsey and Mary DeFreitas.

Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Wilkes-Barre.
