Reginald Taylor Sr., 82, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away early Friday morning surrounded by family, at The Golden Living Center, Wilkes-Barre. He was born on January 22, 1934, a son to the late John and Evelyn Taylor. He retired from the United labors union, local 158 heavy and highway. He was a proud and active Master mason of the Masonic lodge, Golden Rule lodge #15, Wilkes-Barre PA. He was an avid fisherman and often spent time fishing with his wife and children. Reginald and his wife Lena, served as foster parents to more than 14 children over a 10 year period. He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Lena Virginia Taylor. A son, Carl and his brothers. Surviving are his children, Sheryle, Allan, William, Brett and wife, Martha, Rod and wife, Emily, Reginald Jr. and Ryan all of Wilkes-Barre; a son Bruce, Delaware; a sister Beulah James, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, all of Wilkes-Barre. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday from 9-10 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville Pa. Condolences may be sent to www.kniffenfuneralhome.com
