Margaret A. (Petro) George

Margaret A. George, 78, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Michael Robert and Frances

( Rush)  Petro.

She enjoyed embroidering tablecloths and pillow cases.  She loved her dogs Roxie and “The Brown Dog”.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Watkins and brother, Edward Petro.

Surviving are her sons, Robert Michael Petro, Evan “Joseph” Thomas, Alfred George, Walter George and Richard George; daughters, Diane Mosier, Margaret ‘Maggie” Miles, Salvina George, Karen George, and Brenda George; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 465 South Main St, Wilkes-Barre.
