Calman D. "Skip" Baggs

Calman D. “Skip” Baggs, 66, of Wilkes-Barre passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at his home. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on June 3, 1950, the son of the late Calman Baggs and Iona (Davis) Baggs.

Calman took great pride in his education as he attended Wilkes University for four years, Pennsylvania State University for four years, and Luzerne County Community College for two years. He also enjoyed his job working as a manager and dispatcher for the Luzerne County Transport Authority.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Stempleski.

Left to cherish his memory are; his brother, William Baggs and wife Janet; his sister, Ellen Jane Matulis and husband Michael; nephews, Justin Baggs and wife Betsy, Christopher Rodgers and wife Maureen; niece, Jacquelynn Backus and her husband, William; great nephews, Darryl Rodgers and Ian Backus; great nieces, Samantha Backus Lentz and Shelby Backus; great great nephew, Austin Lentz.

Private services will take place at the convenience of Calman’s family. Funeral services have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
