Thomas A. Craig 78, of Port Orange, Fl and formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in Halifax Medical Center Daytona Beach, following a brief illness. Born in Kingston January 2, 1946, he was the son of the late Howard and Margaret Miller Craig.
Thomas was a 1964 graduate of Kingston High School.
He was employed by the Keystone Landfill in Dunmore as a driller, until his retirement in 2007. He’s been enjoying his retirement at his home in Port Orange where he was a member of the local Eagles Club and Moose Lodge. He had a great sense of humor, was a great story teller, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and he never shied away from a good drink.
Thomas lived in his home in Wilkes-Barre until his retirement, when he moved to Florida.
He was a loving Husband, Father, and grandfather.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Gail in 2009, his brother Robert D. Craig in 2022, and Sister In Law Judy Mosteller in 2023.
Thomas is survived by his beloved daughters, Cynthia Craig, Edwardsville; Deborah Seitz and her husband, Marty, Edwardsville; and Brenda Golembeski and her husband, Joseph, Poinciana, FL; three grandchildren. Sabrina, Zackery and Kaylee; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be planned in the future, at the convenience of the family.
